A graduate of Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Naci Başerdem worked as a manager at different levels in various private sector groups for many years. In 1998, he joined Doğuş Holding and after serving in various management positions, he was appointed as the President of Doğuş Tourism and Retail Group and then as a member of Doğuş Holding's Board of Directors. Başerdem, who left Doğuş Group in May 2019 after 21 years of uninterrupted working life, has been serving as the CEO of The Marmara Group, which also includes Vinkara Wines, since February 2020.
