WINEMAKER’S DINNER CONTINUES WITH BÜYÜLÜBAĞ WINERY MEETING AT LARA BARUT COLLECTION

Born in Izmir in 1971, Alp Torner graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University. Starting his professional career at Migros as a training specialist, he moved on to Burger King Company and served as a regional manager until 2002. The same year, he made up his mind to pursue his dreams with his wife, Meltem Biran Toruner. And he founded Buyukbag Bagcilik ve Sarapcilik on Avsa Island, which has a special microclimate and where viticulture and winemaking are based on the ancient culture of Greek viticulture... Adopting the principle of paying ultimate attention to grapes and wine and using the most delicate winemaking methods possible to make superior-quality wines, Alp Toruner has put this principle into action by establishing the first gravity winery in Turkey.

On 3 June, we will taste Büyülübağ wines with the participation of Alp Törüner and the presentation of leading wine writer Mehmet Yalçın.
